Mammatus clouds over northeast South Dakota, . US. Mammatus, also known as mammatocumulus (meaning "mammary cloud" or "breast cloud"), is a meteorological term applied to a cellular pattern of pouches hanging underneath the base of a cloud. They can produce some dramatic and unusual patterns on the sky and are also associated with severe storms.

Having lived in North America for long , I've witnessed a couple of weird and awesome weather phenomenons... In awe of nature's awesomeness.

Dinoflagellates and Bioluminescence

Bioluminescence is the production and emission of light by a living organism. It is a form of chemiluminescence. Bioluminescence occurs widely in marine vertebrates and invertebrates, as well as in some fungi, microorganisms including some bioluminescent bacteria and terrestrial invertebrates such as fireflies.- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioluminescence

So, what lit up the shores of this lake in Australia?
    Dinoflagellates. Yes, Dinoflagellates .

    Read more about it here:

Look at this picture , it seems so surreal. I'm in awe of the glowing blue light and the phenomenon.

SINGING PLANTS - Listen to the songs of the plant

If you have watched James Cameron's Avatar , you would've found  the plants being able to communicate  with each other very fascinating . Theres's nothing fictional about it, it's true and it happens all the time.

Please listen to the songs of the various plants here  https://soundcloud.com/musicoftheplants .

The biorhythms of the plant forms are converted into music. Explore here.

I think I am an artist. I paint every now and then when I get the itch to paint. I'm always looking for inspiration. Nature - Mother earth, never disappoints me with  her awesome beauty. When I first saw these pictures  I simply couldn't resist sharing. My eyes well up with tears every time I see these beautiful pictures. How lucky are we to live on this amazing planet? I'm so grateful for my life on earth.  I'm in awe of this magnificent sight.

These plants that are found in some regions of  South Africa,Namibia, Botswana and few other African countries  are commonly known as 'pebble plants' or 'living stones'. These plants blend into the surroundings as rocks in order to avoid getting eaten.
I'm in awe of nature and it's capability and intelligence to adapt.

The color purple

I enjoyed watching the movie , 'The color purple' ;  I cried for Precious, she was a helpless baby when all the abuse happened, it was no fault of hers. I  can't stop wondering about all the real-life Precious's who are going through the same, my heart breaks for them, I feel helpless…  However, I try to  find peace  by praying  for them.

And as troubling as some of the facts of the world might be ,  when I see how many of us  humans,  one of nature's awesome creations, when we  interfere with nature we are able to create some pretty awesome things, I calm my self with a sense of hopefulness and awe …
Presenting some common veggies  in the royal color purple…

Bleeding-tooth mushroom

Bleedding tooth mushrooms, devil's tooth, red-juice tooth … to some they may  look like delicious strawberry jelly oozing out of  white,  tooth-shaped spongy cake or some kind of  a cool halloween candy … but, this is yet again one of nature's creation , an inedible  fungus , whose fruiting bodies bleeds this vibrant red juice…  They are found in many parts in North America and Europe and some parts of Asia.
Whether poisonous or not, nature makes some of the most beautiful things.
I'm as usual in awe of the natural beauty; vibrant red juice oozing out of a white spongy body. Notice how the body is not soaked or stained. Awesome nature.
