Well, all Dorothy cared was to go back home to Kansas. The sequenced ruby red shoe did bring her good luck ; or did it? Anyways , Dorothy was brave and kind, virtues that are priceless.
Ronald Winston of the famous House of Harry Winston ; also known as the jeweler to the stars designed these ruby studded shoes in 1989 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. However, this shoe is said to have cost $3,000,000.00 USD . The shoes are made with 4600 real rubies and 50 karats of diamonds.
I'm in awe of sparkly red rubies!
