Abalone, mother of pearl, pāua

My abalone shell  pendant is no diamond but I'm still in awe of it. I cannot get enough of the blue, green, and purple iridescence. I feel like  I've captured a piece of rainbow forever, not from the sky but from the depth of the oceans. I love all things abalone, I once saw a beautiful plate on  display made of  mother of pearl, one has to see  the plate in person to experience its beauty. You'll be awe struck.
