Fjords

I feel awe when in my mind's eye see large glaciers cutting the earth  forming a u -shaped valley deeper than the sea  commonly known as the Fjord (fiord). Close your eyes, take a deep breath and imagine for a moment, massive glaciers ploughing  through,  moving forward  leaving behind  marvelously significant scars that would  last for millions of years.  Scars that would  bring moments of awe .
Scoresby Sund (Greenland) is the longest  and the largest fjord.
Skelton Inlet (Antarctica) is the deepest .
Sognefjord (Norway) is the 2nd longest and 2nd deepest.
