This poisonous fruit which is a native of South America is commonly known as 'Nipple fruit', 'Titty fruit', 'Apple of Sodom' and 'Udder fruit'.
This fruit belongs to the same family as the tomatoes and the potatoes.
I'm in awe of these bright yellow fruits for their unique shape and for their use as ornamental plants and for their use in cut-flower arrangements.
