The sun is shining now but a few hours ago it was raining, I was enjoying the pitter-patter of the rain while watching the storm drain gulp all the rain water from the street, the flowing water were so obedient, they quietly flowed in a steady stream quenching the never ending thirst of the drain.
Just as I was letting my imaginations run wild, I found myself imagining an imagination within an imagination that the flowing water was red. Not blood but a rain that was red. Didn't quite enjoy the imagery.
Turns out that it did rain RED on July 25 , 2001, in the districts of Kottayam and Iddukki in the South Indian state of Kerala.
What caused the red rain? Official government reports said that the presence of large amount of spores from lichen-forming alga in the stratosphere caused the red rain.
Well, the panspermia theorists believe otherwise.
Either way, what's not to be in awe of the RED RAIN?
